Help and Hope
We aim to provide "help and hope" to a variety of local, national and worldwide people, organisations and agencies in order to spread the Christian Good News and to give prayerful and practical support for those in need.
Please see our Links page for information about who we work with.
Once per month within our Sunday morning service we incorporate a "mission slot" where we focus on outreach work in either a specific area or by a particular organisation. This raises our awareness of the many desperate needs in our world where a Christian response is required.
But it is not simply a distant, detached knowledge we seek to acquire. Many of us get "hands on" and become directly involved with people and projects in South Cheshire, the UK and internationally. Some examples include:
Our "G6 Men's Group" (named after Galatians chapter 6, verses 1-10, "Doing good to all") who aim to follow that Biblical instruction - "...let us not become weary in doing good...". These men provide assistance to those in need of all types of support.

A number of our folk volunteered to work during the 5 year refurbishment of the LOGOS HOPE in order to adapt it from a routine car ferry vessel into a worldwide mission ship reaching many countries where the Gospel is seldom pronounced or lived out.
A number of our church members have since served in the LOGOS HOPE ministry.

We also have a couple of church members working for Mission Africa in Nigeria, assisting in that organisation's ministry, which includes support for orphans, raising HIV awareness, and spreading the Gospel through a variety of practical means such as computer work and football coaching.

The above are just a few examples of how we try to provide "help and hope" for others. Please contact us if you require further information.
