Although Wheelock Heath Baptist Church operates as an independent church we do maintain links with other churches and groups who hold similar reformed evangelical beliefs.  These links are at  both a regional and national level and include:

 

-  NoSFEC, the North Staffordshire Fellowship of Evangelical Churches.

 

-  NWP, the North West Partnership, a group of local churches committed to proclaiming Jesus Christ to the North West of England and North Wales.    

 

-  Affinity, a growing network of many hundreds of bible-centred churches and Christian agencies across the UK.

 

-  FIEC, the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches in the UK.

 

We believe in the importance of sharing the news of Jesus Christ not just within our local community and the UK but also across the world.  To that end, we support a number of "Mission Partners" who are serving God in various places throughout the world.  These "Mission Partners" work through different agencies including:

 

-  Morning Star, a Christian-based day care facility for underprivileged children who are infected with HIV / AIDS.

 

-  Frontiers, an organisation dedicated to loving and respecting Muslims and sharing with them the message of Jesus.

 

-  UFM,  the Unevangelised Fields Mission, who send Christian missionaries (mainly from the UK) to Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific, Europe and South America.
